“Whodunit? The Science of Solving Crimes,” a traveling exhibit created for the Fort Worth Museum of Science and Industry. Tom served as the design team’s business manager during the design phase of this project, keeping work on schedule and within budget, maintaining relationships between the design team and the museum, and also with educational and specialty design consultants.
Marketing Plan, Harvard Club of Boston. This plan was the basis for programs to increase retention and recruitment rates, create a younger and more diverse membership, and develop events programming to meet members’ interest in academic themes, political events, and Boston’s arts and culture communities. Five-year results included success in recruiting younger and more diverse members, an increase in women members, and an expanded member events calendar.
Operating Grant Request, Bridge Over Troubled Waters. Tom consulted with Bridge from the end of his tenure as Resource Developer in the 1980s through 2002. This document is typical of grants produced annually to support the Boston runaway youth service agency’s outreach, intervention, counseling, and educational programs.
Discovery Channel Pavilion at Coca-Cola Olympic City, Atlanta, GA, 1996. Already serving as design team project manager for this 23-acre theme park celebrating Atlanta’s status as an Olympic City, Tom’s role expanded with the addition of Discovery Communications as sponsor of a pavilion including a 500-person theater and displays of artifacts on loan from the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland.
